The Sells Agency is excited to announce that Katie Wayles has joined the team as a spring intern in the Fayetteville office.
Katie is from Denton, Texas, and graduating from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus in public relations and advertising. This fall, Katie will pursue a master’s in Fayetteville after interning this summer in Denton with Peterbilt Motors.
For seven weeks, Katie will help Sells with marketing efforts for clients in Northwest Arkansas, such as Experience Fayetteville and Arvest Bank. The Sells office in Fayetteville recently moved to 112 W. Center St., right on the Historic Downtown Square, so Katie also will help the agency transition into its new home in Northwest Arkansas.
Katie said she is excited to work for Sells, as she is a proud Arkansas resident and enthusiastic to represent local business and Arkansas-based companies.
On her first day, Katie worked circles around Charlie Gocio and impressed clients, who marveled at her productivity and the quality of her work, much the chagrin of Charlie, who is now worried she is going to make him look bad.
