While in college, Jon had the opportunity to intern at a small, but fast paced ad agency where he got hands-on experience with campaign creation, design and copy development, as well as still-photo and TV commercial shoots. This experience opened his eyes to how creativity can be applied to a wide range of communication and marketing problems. After that summer, he knew that advertising was where he wanted to be.
Jon has been with Sells Agency for more than 20 years. He began his career at the agency as a production artist, working his way up over the years to become the agency’s executive creative director in 2014. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the agency’s creative products. With a keen eye for design and a knack for knowing how to connect with various target audiences, Jon has been the mastermind behind much of the agency’s creative work over the last two decades. His empathy for people throughout his career has allowed him to better understand their concerns and what makes them tick. Being able to listen and to hear their perspectives has given him the ability to better communicate with our clients’ target audiences.
Jon has played a key role in developing and advancing the creative messaging and brand personality for clients including Arvest Bank, Farmers Bank & Trust, OurTexarkana, Experience Fayetteville, Hot Springs Village, and QualChoice to name a few.
