Sells Agency and Pixel Perfect Creative are incredibly lucky to have an amazing group of employees. We’re proud of the long tenure of our staff because that ultimately benefits our clients.
Creating and maintaining a positive company culture is top of mind for Sells Agency and Pixel Perfect Creative. Some things happen naturally, of course, like lunches together outside looking at the Arkansas River, coworkers sharing records from their record collection, or–our favorite–watching and tracking the wildlife outside our office. These things are not only fun but bring some light and levity into the workday.
Both Sells Agency and Pixel Perfect Creative work to foster these internal relationships by planning different types of events throughout the year.
Annual Holiday Party
This is one of our favorite events of the winter! Whether we get together for a simple lunch at the office or have plus-ones and a fun nighttime event, we always make sure to gather together and celebrate the holiday season. Games are played and there is never a shortage of laughs and funny stories.
Sells Food League (SFL)
The Sells Food League was something we came up with to get everyone together in the summer for lunches. Five years ago, we had the initial run and visited 10 burgers shops around town to find the best burger. After a Covid-driven hiatus, we relaunched the league in 2024, trying tacos from eight different local restaurants. This was a tasty way to introduce some comradery and competitiveness. Everyone was vying for their pick to win, and we ended up with full bellies and memorable times together!
Birthday Celebrations
Each month we get together to celebrate birthdays around the office. Amanda, our office manager, does a great job of finding out the birthday person’s favorite treats, and usually has some hilarious decorations for the occasion. Just don’t ask to hear our rendition of "Happy Birthday"–there are no professional singers in this office!
Monthly Lunch & Learns
We have monthly lunches where everyone can gather in the conference room for a meal and conversation. We include our remote staff via Google Meet, and DoorDash them some lunch as well. Each month we spotlight different clients and get updates from different departments about current projects.
Agency Outings
While client work tends to keep us all busy, we like to get out of the office occasionally and do something fun together! In the past we’ve gone bowling, taken a screen-printing class, and sampled the local restaurant scene. Most recently, we volunteered at the Arkansas Foodbank and explored a new client’s event space. It is always hard to get away, but this time together ends up being meaningful and sometimes connects people in unexpected ways.
We may not realize that each of these little things makes a difference, but the culmination is happier employees that understand each other, respect one another, and collaborate well together. Ultimately, we want everyone to enjoy their time at work, and all of these smaller celebrations and events add up to make Sells Agency a place we are all proud to work!
