Where Belief Meets Action: Arvest’s Commitment to Community

At Sells Agency, we have been extremely lucky to have many long-term client relationships. One of those clients is Arvest Bank. We have been a marketing partner for Arvest since 1999, and it’s been a privilege to work with a company that stays true to its values no matter what.

Arvest is built on a fundamental belief in the importance of people and communities. This community-focus allows Arvest to recognize, serve, invest, and contribute to various communities – from small towns to big cities, farm families to healthcare heroes, young families to seniors, business start-ups to large companies, as well as different cultures, interests, and lifestyles. Arvest also supports those who work to improve communities by donating their time and money.

This belief system does more than just drive how they do business; it guides their relationship with the communities they serve. So, when the Sells Agency was tasked with concepting a new campaign around “community,” it wasn’t hard to find examples of Arvest’s commitment to improving those communities.

This multi-state, omni-channel brand campaign focused on Arvest’s belief system using “We Believe” statements:

  • We believe in serving the underserved.
  • We believe in partnering with and supporting people and organizations making a difference.
  • We believe local businesses drive local economies.
  • We believe farm families of all types are the backbone of America.
  • We believe people deserve to have food to feed their families.
  • We believe homeownership improves the lives of families over generations.
  • We believe that every person, regardless their race, age, lifestyle, or background has intrinsic value.

Phase 1 of the campaign explored how their belief system guides their relationship with communities. Sells Agency worked with Arvest and a production company out of Kansas City to develop :30 TV spots and :15 pre-roll spots, as well as other print, outdoor, digital and social materials.

Phase 2 used the existing “We Believe” campaign theme to illustrate the belief that everyone deserves a financial partner that is committed to helping them succeed financially in their personal and professional lives by providing convenient access to banking products and services. There were three main focus areas relating to different divisions within Arvest: small business, retail/consumer, and mortgage. Working with the same production partner, we helped produce three additional spots, one focused on each division.

Through heartfelt TV commercials and powerful print, outdoor, digital, and social content, the campaign brought Arvest’s values to life – showing how belief translates into action. It not only raised awareness of Arvest’s dedication to its customers and communities, but also inspired pride among associates, reinforcing what it means to work for a company like Arvest.
